I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, raised in the middle of a cornfield in Illinois, and I’m a recent resident of Olney (AKA The Home of the White Squirrels). I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication: Public Relations (Double majored in English Literature) from Greenville College and I am currently trying to do a bit of good in the world (or at least Illinois) by working for the state’s financial aid agency. I have a husband and a puppy dog, and both are a fun handful that I would not trade for anything. We just bought a house and we are currently doing a few projects in it.
I’m no amazing blogger, but I’m working on it. I enjoy reading and reviewing books, cooking, knitting, and making things.
